The CMTI provides a comprehensive range of courses needed to upgrade knowledge, skills and abilities of the seafarers focused mainly to the compliance of STCW 78 as amended and SOLAS provisions as well as TMSA and TOTS requirements.

Furthermore, the Continental Maritime Training Center has been authorized by the Administrations of International Merchant Marine Registries to implement their specific procedures for the issuance of their Governmental Certificates of Competence for Bridge, Engine Officers and Cadets, Upgrading of Certificates to the next level for all ranks of Bridge, Engine and Deck personnel Above applies for the Retired Bridge and Engine Officers holders of Certificates of Competence as well.

The training staff (Instructors, Lecturers, Assessors) of the Continental Maritime Training Center consist of a team of professionals, High Rank Officers, Master Mariners, Marine Engineers and Doctors.
